چکیده
INTRODUCTION The biology of these three diseases and the pharmacology and clinical aspects of the so-called classical drugs used for their treatment have been adequately covered by excellent review articles. Consequently, the following discussion will emphasize some of the newer findings. Since coccidiosis is included in this review, the importance of this disease in dOmestic animals is demonstrated and will, therefore, be discussed.

Background: According to recent reports during the COVID-19 pandemic, malaria-endemic regions have a significantly lower COVID-19 case and mortality rate than those malaria-non-endemic. This study aimed to evaluate the prevalence of COVID-19 in malarious areas of southern Iran and the incidence of disease in people previously infected with malaria. Materials and Methods: We conducted an ecolo...

Nanoparticles are dispersed droplets or solid particles with a size of 10-100nm which are made in different shapes. Nanoparticles have received more attention as antiparasitic drugs in recent years since current antiparasitic drugs have some side effects and their efficacy is not proved yet. Nanoparticles are currently used in cancer treatment and gold and silver nanoparticles have a long histo...
متن کاملComputational Study of Quinolone Derivatives to Improve their Therapeutic Index as Anti-malaria Agents: QSAR and QSTR
Malaria is a parasitic disease with limited chemotherapy options. Chemotherapy options are limited; moreover, drug resistant frequently occurs. The speed of drug development should be faster to overcome the emerging drug resistance. In the current study, a series of quinolone derivatives were subjected to quantitative structure activity relationship to identify the ideal physicochemical charact...
